Minced Meat and Egg Scramble


Minced meat – 250 gm

Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp

Coriander powder – 2 tsp

Chilly powder – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp

Salt – to taste

Water – 1/4 cup

Oil – 1 tbsp

Onion – 1 chopped

Green chillies – 2 chopped

Curry leaves – 1 sprig

Eggs – 2

Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp

Garam masala – 1/4 tsp

Maggi chicken cube – 1 small crushed

Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp chopped


Pressure cook the minced meat along with ginger-garlic paste, spice powders, salt and water for 5 minutes on a low flame, after the first whistle.  Heat oil in a non-stick pan and saute’ onions, green chillies and curry leaves.  Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and stir fry.  Add the cooked minced meat, pepper powder, garam masala and maggi cube.  Stir fry till it is dry.  Garnish with coriander leaves.  Yummy ‘Minced  Meat and Egg Scramble’ can be served with rice, rotis, bread, appam and dosa.  Enjoy with your kids!
