Sweet Dried Tapioca Puzhukku



Dried tapioca – 2 cups

Water – 2 cups

Jaggery – 1/2 cup

Salt — to taste

Grated coconut – 4 tbsp



Wash the dried tapioca and soak it in water overnight or for 8 hrs.  Drain and wash it 2 or 3 times.  Transfer it to a pressure cooker.  Add water, jaggery and salt.  Cook for 20 minutes on a low flame after the first whistle.  Allow it to cool.  Open the lid, add grated coconut and mix well.  Serve delicious ‘Sweet Dried Tapioca Puzhukku’ as an evening snack.  Enjoy with your kids!
