Ingredients
Beef cubes – 500 gm
Water – 1 cup
Salt – to taste
Oil – 1 tbsp
Peppercorns – 1 tsp
Bay leaf – 1
Ginger – 1 tbsp chopped
Garlic – 1 tbsp chopped
Onion – 1 sliced
Meat masala / Curry powder – 2 tbsp
Fish sauce – 1 tbsp
Coconut milk – 1 cup
Maggi chicken cube – 1 crushed
Pumpkin – 1 cup diced
Cauliflower florets – 1 cup
Capsicun – 1/2 diced
Tomatoes – 2 diced
Green chilles – 4 diced
Method
Pressure cook the beef along with water and salt till done. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and splutter peppercorns. Add the bay leaf, ginger and garlic, fry till aroma comes out. Add onions and fry till light brown. Add the meat masala and spinkle some water. Fry till aroma comes out. Add fish sauce, coconut milk, maggi cube and the vegetables. Pour the cooked beef along with the left over gravy into the pan and mix well. Cook covered till the vegetables are cooked. Add more salt if needed. Yummy ‘Beef and Vegetables Curry’ is ready now! Serve it with rice or bread. Enjoy!
