Pressure cook the dhal along with 1 cup of water for 5 minutes on a low flame, after the first whistle.  Let it cool.  Add pumpkin, prawns and turmeric powder.  Pressure cook for another 3 minutes.  Heat oil in a non-stick pan and splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds.  Add garlic and fry for a few seconds.  Add onions, green chillies and curry leaves.  When the onions turn light brown, add the chilli flakes.  Add the cooked pumpkin prawn and dhal mixture.  Add salt to taste.  Mix gently and simmer till the mixture is almost dry.  Serve ‘Pumpkin Prawn and Dhal Stir Fry’ as a side dish with rice or chapathis.  Enjoy!
