Ingredients
Mincemeat – 1/2 kg
Onion – 1 chopped
Ginger – 1″ piece chopped
Garlic – 2 chopped
Green chillies – 2 chopped
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp chopped
Worcestershire sauce – 1 tsp
Tomato sauce – 3 tbsp
Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Water – 1 cup
Salt – to taste
Oil – 2 tbsp
Method
Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves. Fry till the onions turn golden brown. Add the masala powders and fry till the raw smell goes. Now add the mincemeat, water, sauces and salt. Mix well and cover with a lid. Cook on a low flame till done. Stir in-between. Open the lid and evaporate excess water. Fry for about 5 minutes and put off the flame. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Serve hot with rice, bread or parathas. Kids will love it!
