Yoghurt – 1 cup

Water – 1 cup

Salt – to taste

Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp

Jeera/ Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp

Uluva/ Fenugreek seeds – 1/8 tsp

Garlic – 2 small chopped

Curry leaves – 1 sprig

Dry red chillies – 2 broken

Method

Mix yoghurt with water and salt.  See that the yoghurt is at room temperature.  Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds.  Add garlic, dry red chillies and curry leaves and fry on a low flame.  When the garlic turns brown, add turmeric powder and switch off the flame.  Add the yoghurt and mix well.  Heat the mixture on a low flame, stirring continuously.  When steam starts coming, switch off the flame.  Serve yummy ‘Moru Kachiyathu’ with rice and any dry side dish.  Enjoy!
