Ingredients
Crab – 1 kg
Garlic – 6 crushed
Ginger – 2″ piece crushed
Onions – 2 big sliced
Green chillies – 2 slit
Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
Coriander powder – 3 tsp
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Tomato paste – 2 tbsp
Water – 1 1/2 cup
Salt – to taste
Coconut oil – 2 tbsp
Method
Clean and wash the crabs and cut each of them into two pieces. Slightly crush the leg pieces. Heat oil in a wok and add crushed ginger and garlic. Fry till light brown and then add onions, green chillies and curry leaves. Fry till the onions turn light brown. Add the spice powders and some water. Fry till aroma comes out. Now add the tomato paste, water and salt. Add the crab pieces and mix well. Cover and cook on a medium flame till done. Stir in between. Open the lid and simmer till the gravy is thick. Serve lip-smacking ‘Crab Roast’ with steamed rice. Enjoy with your loved ones!

My favourite how i wish i had these with rice the thought makes me drool. Hubby don’t like our Indian style crab, he like the one with jus mayo etc….
